Education and Experience

Sloane Fredricks is a current student of Dallas Theological Seminary, earning her Master’s degree in Counseling (MAC). She received a BA in Rhetoric and Writing from The University of Texas at Austin. After serving high school and college-aged women through Young Life and Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) and coaching high school cross country, Sloane is passionate about creating a safe environment for individuals to be vulnerable and heard.
In her free time, Sloane enjoys spending time with her husband, Nate, reading all types of books, spending time outside with friends, and walking her goldendoodle, Piper.

Interests and Specialties

Sloane primarily works with adolescents and young adults with a focus on anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions. Beginning counseling is a brave step, and Sloane is honored to have the privilege of sitting with clients through various issues. She believes that the counseling relationship is central to healing and change and prioritizes supporting clients as they explore their experiences in life by tailoring her approach to their unique needs.
